Josephine Press is pleased to present Limb by Joseph Piasentin.

Limb is a suite of 8 etchings that was produced from June 1991 through September 1992 and published by the Christopher John Gallery in Santa Monica, California, with the oversight of Master Printmaker John Greco.

Joseph Piasentin

A native Californian, graduate of Stanford University and the California College of Arts and Crafts, Piasentin’s prints, as his drawings and paintings, are process oriented; richly layered and heavily worked. He describes his work as the “cultivation of the accident,’ where the operation of assembly and disassembly provide a constantly changing relationship of formal issues.” He recently retired from his position as a Professor of Painting and Drawing at Pepperdine University, Malibu California.
